TO ALL RETAILERS AND GROWERS:*
Mulberry Miniatures has Perfection Greenhouse in New Washington Ohio as a fantastic grower. Look for Mulberry Miniature plants at your favorite retailer.

Tropical sun perennials will live year after year in the south, according to their Zone hardiness, though just north of that, they are often called annuals.

This sun loving group of plants, whether grown in the northern or southern states, love as much sun as you can throw at them. In containers, use an organic brand potting soil (without the chemical fertilizer pellets) and allow the soil to dry out between watering, just not bone dry. Wilting these plants are not good. Scratch into the top of the soil, 1-2 Tbsp. of an organic granular fertilizer or your favorite liquid fertilizer monthly, to keep plants healthy but not crazy overgrown.

From this group of plants come the most popular tropical bonsai plants, loved nation wide because they can be enjoyed year-around. In addition, they are great for Garden Railroads (G-Scale) as appropriately scaled trees, shrubs and ground-covers. Northern gardens need to bring them indoors for the winter as houseplants, but their beauty is worth the fuss and enjoyed all winter. As plants
grow, remove lower branches to show-off the trunk and remove growing tips to allow branches to strengthen and grow upright.
